Organic Options

Friday, July 24, 2009

lat4415Just as all-natural, organic foods have allowed consumers to understand exactly what they’re eating, organic fabrics help keep unknown and potentially hazardous materials out of the home. Conscientious parents are constantly on the lookout for infant clothing made from soft, high-quality fabrics; organic options ensure safety and comfort alike.

Whether they’re made to fit a newborn infant or an active toddler, clothing and accessories can be found in all-natural, 100 percent cotton varieties. These garments are fashioned from cotton that has never been touched by harmful pesticides. Likewise, the finished products are never treated with bleach, which can irritate a baby’s skin.

Baby and Toddler colds

Friday, July 24, 2009

imagesDoes your little one have a cold?

The first sign of a cold is often a congested or runny nose.

A baby’s cold for a parent could be an alarming, an unpleasant  situation, seeing how uncomfortable they get with a runny nose, and a stuffy nose is worrying, and stressful for a us parents, specially the mother, because of  the discomfort they go through most babies would tend not to eat, or eat less, due to the blockage in their little nose (stuffy nose), therefor our worry is usually their weight loss and/or lack of enough nutrition.

A few things you may try until you bring your baby to his/her Pediatrician is baby rub and or Menthol on their chest to open up their nose passage so they can breath better, making it easier for them to be fed. Besides the medicine the Pediatrician prescribes, if not given by Pediatrician it’s advisable to ask your Pediatrician for prescription of drops to administer through  their nose to clear the nose passage, in turn they will feed better

At Tots Trends we are committed to bring to you not just subjects on Toddlers fashion. We will try to post anything that may affect your  daily Parents/Child life routine.
