Parents need to begin their toddler’s training process at a early baby stage, and that starts by making their feedings further apart as the days go by once your toddler takes no more feedings at night he/she will have solid bedtimes and sleeping habits becoming part of their healthy lifestyle. Parents often get their babies/toddlers accustomed to certain things that makes it harder on themselves,” The Parent”.
Doe’s
Maintain healthy eating habits, and dinner about two hours before bedtime.
Keep a scheduled nap time routine throughout the day.
Make sure your toddler gets required playtime, good for his/her age as a form of exercise during the day.
Keep a consistent daily routine with all of the above.
Dont’s
Taking babies/toddlers for a drive to make them fall asleep, is a big one I recall doing that myself for one of my children.
Rocking them to sleep, I constantly see mothers do it
Your Toddler/baby should be kept from being close to a TV, Radio,
Sugary snacks should be restrained near bed time, and beverages should also be stopped at least an hour before bedtime
A good healthy routine as a baby will grow into a well behaved healthy toddlers
