Think of your Baby as a person. (personality)
- Children do things at their own pace
- All children are different and do things differently and shouldn’t be compared with other children including siblings.
- Accidents are part of the learning process
- Repetition is the mother of perfection. It does take a while for some children to learn, but let them keep trying they’ll meet the standards.
- Children become frustrated from time to time when they can’t do things older kids can. It is important to understand and be patient until they take control of their bodily functions.
- “Understanding their fear” toilets are big to them, hard to reach. flushing may be noisy and scary. Place all necessary step stools, baby toilet trainer seat.
- Potty comes from their body. They do wonder what happens to it after they flush
- The action listed above could bring an overwhelming reaction.
- Explain some of the steps with words and a tone of voice comfortable to your child. It will make more sense to them
- Last but not Least. Always praise and reward, positive reactions for a positive action, understand there will be accidents
NOTE: Pull up diapers, Infant Fleece Sweatpants, and/or Creeper will make the above possible, and easier for your TOT
