With parts of the country experiencing record-setting heat waves, it’s easy to forget that fall is just around the corner. The dog days of August will soon give way to those cool September mornings and afternoons, and that means it’s time for parents to outfit their newborns accordingly. On July 31st 2009 First Lady Michelle Obama Visited the Naval Base in Norfolk Virginia, the purpose of her visit to the Naval Base, on the return to the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group and the Navy hospital ship, the USNS Comfort,  to address military families! calling them “quiet heroes who represent the best in our country”
She told about 300 sailors and family members present in this event. “We must remember that when our troops are deployed, their families are left behind and face a different set of duties.”
My reason for addressing this event is one, because My granddaughter took part of this event when she was held in the arms of the First Lady, making this an impact on how important family values are to President Obama,and First Lady Michelle Obama
